Authentic Author

Growing up Andre noticed that none of the books he read included black people. He wanted to change that and started drafting ideas and writing books as well as drawing pictures that told contemporary and old fairytales in a way that shows people from all walks of life. Getting published in his birth place of Germany as well as in Canada is a dream that he hopes to make a reality very soon.

Felix Karsten

Purposeful Playwright

Ever since Felix was little he had friends of different backgrounds and quickly saw how they were often "othered". Often times, he believes the only reason was the color of their skin. That's why Felix started writing plays for theaters that talk about that experience. All of his roles are played by someone experiencing less privilege than him and at the end of every play he shares specific calls to actions and ways that - especially white people - can help undo a problem, he believes, they created.
