WHO WE ARE
Isabelle International is an independent creative initiative dedicated to conscious content creation, documentary storytelling, artistic collaboration and emerging creator development - in English, French and German. We have successfully helped artists from Algeria to Alberta, Togo to Toronto and many places in between produce published pieces.
Founded by international journalist Isabelle Noack, the studio was created to support thoughtful, globally engaged storytelling across media, documentary and creative disciplines.
Drawing from experience in international journalism, media production and cross-cultural storytelling, Isabelle International aims to create accessible and collaborative spaces where emerging voices can develop projects, exchange ideas and strengthen their creative practice. Canadian rooted, creatively inspired and cross-culturally connected. We are proudly Canadian and passionately inclusive - redefining what it means to be North American in a way that includes everyone - regardless of skin color, sexual orientation, heritage, age, size, ability, religion etc.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to support emerging storytellers and creators - especially those who are marginalized - through mentorship, collaboration and culturally engaged storytelling initiatives.
We are particularly interested in projects that explore identity, community, migration, culture, social issues and underrepresented perspectives across local and global contexts and have successfully created content that shaped policies, places and people. Through documentary, journalism, poetry, visual media and interdisciplinary storytelling, we are dedicated to fostering creative work that encourages empathy, curiosity and meaningful dialogue - to the highest editorial and ethical standards.
OUR STORY
Isabelle International emerged from a passion for storytelling that crosses borders, disciplines and perspectives. Growing up rarely seeing anyone who looks like her, let alone her mother, founder Isabelle Noack promised herself and her only black barbie, to help create a world where every voice and vision matters.
After years working across international journalism and media environments, Isabelle recognized the growing need for supportive creative spaces where emerging storytellers could develop their voices beyond traditional institutional pathways, that are mostly still very homogeneous.
The studio was created as a space for collaboration, mentorship and internationally minded storytelling, based in Canada, rooted in authenticity, curiosity and human connection. Today, Isabelle International continues to evolve as a platform supporting documentary initiatives, creative partnerships and different voices across cultures and communities.
